Master projects at QPIT

Master projects at DTU are typically worth 30 or 35 ECTS points and are carried out in the final semester of the MSc education. Throughout the years, we have had many excellent master (and bachelor) students working on experimental or theoretical projects. Often, the master project has been an entry point for a PhD in the section.

If you are interested in pursuing a bachelor or master project in our section, feel free to contact anyone of us.

We're very happy to welcome five students who will do their final master projects in our section this spring. This is a record number for QPIT.

Welcome to Veera and welcome back to Benjamin, Matthias, Daniel and Abhinav!

We're excited to work with them on these projects:

  • Benjamin Larsen: Experimental quantum state discrimination
  • Abhinav Verma: Non-Gaussian cluster states
  • Veeraraghavan Krishnan: Automatic bias control of an IQ modulator for quantum key distribution
  • Daniel Requena: Resonant excitation of colour centres in diamond
  • Matthias Boisen: Applications of 'Gaussian Boson Sampling' in quantum chemistry calculations
