Subhashish Barik, who got his MSc from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, will start as a PhD student in bigQ/QPIT with the project title Elements of quantum computation on photonic cluster states under supervision of Jonas and Ulrik. Building on the large-scale entangled cluster states we have generated in the lab, Subhashish will work on further empowering them with non-Gaussian functionality towards the end-goal of performing measurement-based quantum computation.
