The Villum Foundation

VILLUM FONDEN is a non-profit foundation created by Villum Kann Rasmussen. It supports technical and scientific research as well as environmental, social and cultural projects in Denmark and internationally. The foundation is the principal shareholder of VKR Holding, the parent company of VELUX A/S and other companies in the VKR Group, whose mission it is to bring daylight, fresh air and a better environment into people’s everyday lives.

Jonas has been awarded a postdoc grant under the VILLUM FONDEN Young Investigator Programme.

In December 2014, the Young Investigator Programme of the Villum Foundation granted 100 million DKK to 21 young researchers in Denmark. Jonas was among them with his project "Partitioned quantum teleportation of multi-photon states). In this project, running for the next couple of years, he is aiming to demonstrate teleportation of continuous-variable quantum states using multiple single-photon teleporters, also known as quantum scissors.
