We welcome Adnan who started as postdoc at December, 1st. Adnan will work with Hossein, Hou-Man and Nitin on an experimental demonstration of a new measurement-device-independent continuous-variable quantum key distribution protocol. The security proof of a measurement-device-independent protocol does not make any assumptions on the measurement apparatuses and so attackers cannot breach security by maliciously manipulating them. Adnan has a background in key distribution based on chaotic processes from Shanghai University.
